Odds converter — American, decimal, fractional and implied probability

Type a price into any box — American, decimal, fractional or a percentage — and the other three follow. Nothing is sent anywhere.

+150 is 2.5 in decimal and 3/2 fractional, and implies 40%. A $100 bet at this price pays $150.00 profit.

The implied probability is the price as a percentage, vig included — not an estimate of the outcome.

How odds are converted

To turn American odds into decimal, a positive price is divided by 100 and 1 is added: +150 is 1 + 150/100 = 2.50. A negative price is 1 + 100 divided by the price without its sign: −110 is 1 + 100/110 = 1.909.

Fractional odds are profit over stake, so decimal odds are the fraction plus 1: 3/2 is 1.5 + 1 = 2.50, and 10/11 is 1.909. Evens is 1/1, which is 2.00 in decimal and +100 in American.

Implied probability is 100 divided by the decimal odds: 2.50 implies 40%, and 1.909 implies 52.38%. Both sides of a market add up to more than 100% — the excess is the book's margin, so this is a price, not a forecast.
