What an injury report means in the NBA
The useful version of this is narrower than the popular one. A published report is priced within minutes. What moves a number is the gap between what the report says and what turns out to be true.
In the NBA specifically: Games every other night. Nothing has a week of line formation, and a number can be posted and played inside twenty-four hours.
Questionable means something different in each league, and in some it is used tactically rather than medically.
That is also the expensive part. The bet you want is rarely on the injured player's team. It is on the market having over-corrected for one name.

1,261 games in the NBA that are over and carried a price when we wrote them up, between November 25, 2025 and November 6, 2026. Each count sits beside what it is out of, and the share is the one divided by the other.

4 games landed exactly on the number — the handicap or the total — so they are in the counts they are out of and in neither result.
The prices counted here are DraftKings', as they stood when we last wrote each game up — one snapshot per game, near kick-off for almost all of them, and never a closing line. So this says what the published line did, not how it moved on the way there.
