Ninety minutes means ninety minutes

Standard soccer markets settle on ninety minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalties entirely.

The regulation period is the event being priced. Knockout competitions add extra time as a separate phase, and standard markets do not cover it.

The scoreline that settles A cup tie decided in extra time settles as the draw it was at ninety minutes. A bet on either side to win loses, and the team that 'won' did so after the bet was already decided.

Separate markets exist for the full outcome including extra time and penalties, usually labelled 'to qualify' or 'to lift the trophy'.

Which is where it goes wrong. The scoreline everybody remembers and the scoreline the bet settles on are different numbers in every knockout fixture.

What to do with it. In any knockout competition, check whether the market covers ninety minutes or the full tie.

126 games landed exactly on the number — the handicap or the total — so they are in the counts they are out of and in neither result.

The prices counted here are DraftKings', as they stood when we last wrote each game up — one snapshot per game, near kick-off for almost all of them, and never a closing line. So this says what the published line did, not how it moved on the way there.

A season that happened. Nothing here predicts the next game, and none of it is advice.
