Noticing when decisions get worse
Tiredness, alcohol and lateness each degrade judgement measurably, and betting is available at precisely those hours by design.
Impulse control and probability assessment both decline with fatigue, and neither decline is noticeable from the inside. The impression of clarity persists long after the accuracy has gone.
Not everybody is affected equally or at the same hour, and the honest way to find out is a log with times in it rather than an assumption either way.
And that is the trap. Round-the-clock availability is a product feature, and it is not a feature designed around the user's decision quality.
What to do with it. Log the time of every bet, review which hours produced which results, and close the app during the ones that do not survive the check.
