When a pick is voided, and why

A voided pick is one that, for settlement purposes, never happened. There is a closed list of reasons, every one of them ours or nobody's, and none of them costs you a day.

The list

  • No pick inside the window. The day opened and closed without a main pick. That is our failure, so the day voids automatically — see the delivery window.
  • The market was already below the minimum when we released it. We published a floor the price had gone under before you could act on it. Our mistake, not yours.
  • The result feed says void. Whatever the reason at the competition's end, if the bet did not stand, it did not stand.
  • The match was postponed. Voided immediately. We do not make anyone wait for a rescheduled date to find out what their counter is doing.
  • The match was abandoned. Any minute, no threshold. A cut-off point is one more thing to argue about, and we would rather not have the argument.
  • A push. The result landed exactly on the line and the stake comes back. See how a push settles here.

Why the list is closed

A void reason that is not on that list cannot be recorded at all — the code refuses it. That is deliberate: an open-ended "voided" would let a day be taken out of the record for reasons nobody could check afterwards. Every voided day is published with its reason attached.

What voiding does to your package

Nothing, which is the whole point. The counter does not move, the day is not billed, and the next day carries on as normal. A void is not a loss and it is not a win: it is a day that did not happen.

Your bookmaker has its own rules Our rules decide what your counter does. Your bookmaker's rules decide what your bet does — when they settle an abandoned match, whether they return a stake, how long they hold it. Those are two different questions and we cannot answer the second one for you.
Ambiguity resolves your way Every case on that list is one we absorb rather than one you do. That is the governing principle behind the settlement rules, and it is affordable only because the picks are real ones.
