When an NFL game changes stadium
A relocation for weather or safety usually voids bets placed before the move, because the venue was part of what was priced.
A total is set for a specific stadium with specific conditions. Moving the game changes the premise, and most operators treat that as a different event.
Home advantage also changes, sometimes substantially, if the relocation moves the game closer to the visiting team.
And that is the trap. Not every book voids. Some reprice and let the existing bet stand, which hands you a position you would not have taken at the new number.
What to do with it. Check the relocation rule at your book, and treat a stadium change as a reason to review any open position.
