What an Asian handicap is
An Asian handicap — A soccer handicap quoted in quarter-goal increments, which splits a stake across two adjacent lines.
Soccer's low scoring means half-goal steps are coarse. Quarter lines allow finer gradations by placing half the stake on each of two neighbouring handicaps.
The same mechanism applies to totals, producing half-wins and half-losses there too.
Which is where it goes wrong. The notation looks like a precision refinement and is actually two bets bundled, which is not visible from the number alone.
What to do with it. Write out both halves explicitly before taking any quarter line.

The prices counted here are DraftKings', as they stood when we last wrote each game up — one snapshot per game, near kick-off for almost all of them, and never a closing line. So this says what the published line did, not how it moved on the way there.
