Extra picks, and why they never touch the counter

Alongside the main pick we publish up to ten more on the same day. They are included in what you already paid, they settle on their own, and none of them can move your counter in either direction.

What the counter does about them: nothing

  • An extra pick that wins does not use up a day.
  • An extra pick that loses does not cost you a day.
  • An extra pick that is voided changes nothing either.

That is not an oversight, it is the reason we can publish them at all. If supporting picks could vote on the day, "a winning day" would become a number we could tune by publishing more of them — and on a bad night the honest move would be to publish fewer, which is exactly the wrong incentive to build into a product.

They are real picks, held to the same standard

  • Each one carries its own price, its own minimum price and its own kick-off.
  • Each one is committed with its own hash before its own kick-off. A supporting pick published after the ball is in the air is worth exactly as little as a main one would be.
  • Each one is settled and published in the archive, wins and losses alike.

How many you get

Up to ten, and often fewer. The number is not a quota to be filled: it is however many additional selections cleared our own bar that day. Some days there are none at all, and a day with only a main pick is a normal day, not a short one.

Do not staple them together Extras are independent single bets and are not designed to be combined into one ticket. If you build a parlay out of them, the odds multiply but so does the chance of losing the lot — and the result of that ticket is yours, not ours. See why we sell no parlays.
A worked day Main pick wins, four extras go out, two of them lose. Your counter drops by exactly one. The two losing extras are recorded, published, and irrelevant to what you bought.
