Paying in crypto, step by step

Why a crypto transfer carries extra winning days has its own article. This one is only about what happens on the screen.

The steps

  1. At checkout, choose Crypto and give an email address as usual — the receipt and your access key go there.
  2. An invoice page opens. You choose the coin and the network there: the address only exists after that choice, which is why this site never shows you one before it.
  3. Send the exact amount shown, on the network shown.
  4. The order moves to confirming when the transfer is seen, and to paid when it is confirmed. The days appear at that moment.

The invoice has a lifetime

It is open long enough for a slow chain and a distracted buyer, and the page shows the clock. It is not open forever, because the amount was quoted against a rate that keeps moving.

If you send too little

The order deliberately stays unpaid and the invoice stays open. Settling it would hand you a month's days for the price of a fraction, and failing it would throw away money that has already arrived — so the right move is to top the same invoice up. Do not start a second order.

Send only on the network shown A transfer on any other network cannot be credited automatically. If it has already happened, write to [email protected] with the transaction hash and we sort it out by hand. On some networks nothing can be recovered at all, and that part is not up to us.
The price is in dollars The amount agreed, taken and printed on the invoice is always USD. The gateway quotes whatever coin you picked at the moment you pay; the conversion is its problem, not a second price of ours.
