Five fouls, on a much shallower roster
College players foul out one foul sooner than professionals, on rosters with far less quality behind the starters.
The combination is what matters. Fewer fouls allowed means more players reaching the limit, and thinner depth means the replacement is a bigger drop than in the NBA.
Foul trouble is partly a function of style. Aggressive defensive teams and physical matchups produce it far more often, which makes it somewhat forecastable.
What follows from that is less comfortable. It is the least priceable absence in basketball because it is generated during the game by events nobody can schedule.
What to do with it. For props especially, prefer players whose usage does not depend on avoiding contact, and check each team's foul rates.

How they ended
Over 6,487 finished games in College Basketball whose result line says how it ended — the feed's own one-line verdict, not a reading of the play.
| What | How often | Out of | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Went past regulation | 329 | 6,487 | 5.1% |
4 games landed exactly on the number — the handicap or the total — so they are in the counts they are out of and in neither result.
The prices counted here are DraftKings', as they stood when we last wrote each game up — one snapshot per game, near kick-off for almost all of them, and never a closing line. So this says what the published line did, not how it moved on the way there.
A season that happened. Nothing here predicts the next game, and none of it is advice.
