A college game moved to another campus

A relocation usually voids bets placed before the move at operators that treat the venue as part of the event, and college relocates on a few days' notice far more readily than the professional game.

There are a hundred and thirty-odd stadiums and most of them can host, so a conference can move a fixture to a neutral campus or to the visitor's field in a way the NFL rarely can. The total and the home advantage were both priced for a place the game is no longer in.

What moving it is worth A game shifted from a hostile stadium at altitude to the opponent's campus changes the spread by several points and the total by more. A bet on the original fixture was a bet on conditions that no longer exist.

Some operators reprice and let the existing bet stand rather than voiding it, which leaves you holding a number you would not have taken.

And that is the trap. The same event moved by the same weather is void at one book and live at another, and both are applying their own published terms correctly.

What to do with it. Treat a venue change as a reason to review any open position, and read your operator's relocation rule before a week with weather in the forecast.

How they ended

Over 1,299 finished games in College Football whose result line says how it ended — the feed's own one-line verdict, not a reading of the play.

WhatHow oftenOut ofShare
Went past regulation641,2994.9%

5 games landed exactly on the number — the handicap or the total — so they are in the counts they are out of and in neither result.

The prices counted here are DraftKings', as they stood when we last wrote each game up — one snapshot per game, near kick-off for almost all of them, and never a closing line. So this says what the published line did, not how it moved on the way there.

A season that happened. Nothing here predicts the next game, and none of it is advice.
