Five fouls, not six
College players foul out one foul sooner than professionals, on rosters far shallower than professional ones.
The combination matters more than either fact alone: fewer fouls allowed means more players reach the limit, and thinner depth means a bigger drop to the replacement.
It is partly forecastable from style — aggressive defensive teams and physical matchups produce it far more often.
And that is the trap. It is the least priceable absence in basketball because it is generated during the game by events nobody can schedule.
What to do with it. Prefer players whose usage does not depend on avoiding contact when betting college props.

How they ended
Over 6,487 finished games in College Basketball whose result line says how it ended — the feed's own one-line verdict, not a reading of the play.
| What | How often | Out of | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Went past regulation | 329 | 6,487 | 5.1% |
4 games landed exactly on the number — the handicap or the total — so they are in the counts they are out of and in neither result.
The prices counted here are DraftKings', as they stood when we last wrote each game up — one snapshot per game, near kick-off for almost all of them, and never a closing line. So this says what the published line did, not how it moved on the way there.
A season that happened. Nothing here predicts the next game, and none of it is advice.
